What we are looking for

We are looking for an energetic and highly motivated person to join our team as a Data Analyst. The aim of the role will be to conduct full lifecycle analysis to include requirements, activities and design. As Data Analyst, you will develop analysis, reporting capabilities and monitor performance and quality control plans to identify improvements for cross functional teams. You will report directly to the Head of Bizops and work closely with our software developers, data analysts and data scientists on data initiatives and will ensure optimal data delivery architecture is consistent throughout ongoing projects.Our teams are working in a dynamic, fast-paced and team-oriented environment.

What you’ll do

  • Using data analysis to identify problems within EatTasty and develop new solutions to help the business growth;
  • Work with management to prioritize business and information needs;
  • Mining data from primary and secondary sources, then reorganizing the data in a format that can be easily read by either human or machine;
  • Using statistical tools to interpret data sets, paying particular attention to trends and patterns that could be valuable for diagnostic and predictive analytics efforts;
  • Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality;
  • Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems;
  • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets;
  • Filter and “clean” data by reviewing computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems;
  • Locate and define new process improvement opportunities.

What you’ll need experience

  • Graduate degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Informatics, Information Systems or another related field;
  • 2 or more years of experience using PowerBI;
  • Experience with PowerBI dashboard development and project management;
  • Experience with BI report development and implementation as well as management information reporting on a weekly/monthly basis;
  • Experience utilizing M-language and DAX to prepare data in PowerBI and optimizing query performance;
  • Experience utilizing SQL;
  • Ability in managing and communicating data warehouse plans to internal clients;
  • Experience building and optimizing ‘big data’, data pipelines, architectures and data sets;

 

You’ll Get Extra Credits for

  • Knowledge of programming languages like Python;
  • Strong project management and organizational skills;
  • Strong analytic skills related to working with unstructured datasets;
